For the fourth time (after Herborn in 1988, Wesel in 1992 and Heimburg in 1999) Germany organizes this competition.

The Continental Sheepdog Championship 2008 will be held from 21 till 24 August in Wittbek close to Husum in Schleswig-Holstein. A well experienced organizing committee of members of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Border Collie Deutschland took over the responsible task to organize this event.

In two exciting days about 80 of the best sheepdogs (only Border Collies) from 13 European countries will compete against each other, and the best 15 of them will go forward to the Finals. Those 15 will decide in an even more exciting competition about the Continental Sheepdog Champion 2008.
